Don't confuse this location with any other Ninfa's, this is the real deal! Authentic flavor, varied menu, large variety of flavored margaritas, and prompt service. Can get crowded, but for good reason!

My wife and I went here for a date night before an Astros game and had a wonderful time! The food and staff were amazing. And the Shuttle Driver that dropped us off and picked us up was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Very personable and genuine. We will definitely be coming back! We love this place!

Ninfas was recommended to me by a friend since we were in town for the game. Outstanding food and excellent service. Ernesto, our waiter, was absolutely wonderful and attentive! Thank you from Austin! We enjoyed our experience immensely and will be back on our next visit!!!

The food was good. Good portion size. But some of it was cold when it got to our table. Small things like black beans and rice where cold and the coffee. We asked for fresh brewed coffee. Don't know if it really was freshly brewed but it was hotter when it came back. The waiter was excellent!! In all i think we might return.

Authentic environment and the food is too! Plenty of parking and a security guard circuits the lot. The chili releno was still crisp and not mushy. However the seeds were not well removed and it had a little more heat than I typically can tolerate.The 2 brisket tamales in corn husks were a very filling meal and uniquely flavored filling. I will try the pork tamales next time. The refried beans were also creamy perfectThe red salsa has great texture and is wonderfully NOT watery and slightly spiced for non spicy tolerant people.

Flavor: AService: BTea: ASolo dining: AI hadn't been to a Ninfa's in such a long time. Nothing has changed and they're still serving up great Tex-Mex. I had the nachos and they are really generous with the fajita meat.

Only negative comment:The fajita meat had too much fat and was hard. I'd give it another try next time though. Benefit of the doubt.Onto the good stuff:The chicken was delicious! I'm not a huge fan of chicken but it was cooked just right. I got the mix of tacos Al carbón.Chips and salsa are some of the best I've had in Houston. Chips we're crunchy and not greasy.Ordered a cucumber margarita, the presentation was great and the taste was pretty good. Service was excellent. Jacinda was our server and she did a great job as well as the bus girl (didn't catch her name) she did a good job at refilling chips & cleaning up dirty dishes off the table.I'd suggest to go during non-peak hours to avoid waiting. Prices aren't "cheap" but honestly for the portion of food and the quality, I'd say they're reasonable. Also, my husband saw they offer complimentary valet.

Great Margaritas, and steak fajitas! Fast service, to bad it was the most expensive Mexican food I’ve ever had. That will severely limit my trips there. If you have deeps pockets have at it, you won’t be disappointed.

We usually don't like Tex-Mex but this place does a good job balancing Tex Mex with traditional Mexican. It's one of our favorite spots in Houston. Awesome fresh made tortillas for a restaurant. The area is pretty cool as well.

Located on the Eastside a few minutes from Minute Maid Park, this restaurant offers great food at reasonable prices. The staff are professional, personable and efficient. This is a place you'll regret you missed if you're visiting Houston Texas.

I haven't gotten to eat here yet, but I deliver with doordash and I am always at the restaurant. They are super friendly and great customer service every visit. I just moved here and everyone person I have met in Houston keeps telling I have to eat here! I can't wait! I promised my partner I would wait until he moves and go on a date night. It so tempting just to grab a bite it smell just like my Aunts Kitchen. Brings back childhood memories!

Omg!!! Food was just as good as it was back in the 90's!!! The margaritas were good and although there was a wait, the margarita chips, salsa & guacamole sauce at the bar held us over until our table was ready!!!! I'll definitely return & will take pics next time

Hello!!! I am proud to say this spot is one of great places to eat some food with a large party(10) and the server did a fantastic job !!! I will come back again and would recommend people to go there!! My wife and I made a last min reservation after speaking with the manager the same day ( @830 pm).. My friends surprised us( my wife and I have November birthdays) with cake and we enjoyed it the moments!!!

Loved the food. Atmosphere was outstanding. Parking was not too bad but during peak hours I could see where it could be difficult. Wait times might be long also depending on when you go. Everything was stellar service, food, tables, chairs, silverware, cleanliness, bathrooms. However they do not sell tea of any kind there which I thought was odd but everything else was awesome.

Super tasty Mexican food. You can tell that the quality here is higher than run of the mill Tex Mex restaurants. I had the mole enchiladas and pitcher of margs. I would go back again for sure. I would suggest making a reservation because when I went in the wait line looked pretty long. There's self parking or valet options.

Food was okay. Service was great though! Maybe this place was just super over hyped by the person telling me about it, or maybe it was an off day for the cooking staff. I was told the fajitas were supposed to be what Ninfa's was known for, but the ones we had were flavorless. The rest of my party enjoyed what they had.

Restaurant was amazing! The food and service was great! However, we sat on the beautiful patio - and it was blistering hot. I wish the fans were a little more powerful to help cool us and keep the flies off of the food.Otherwise, this is a must go place

After years of wanting to come here I finally made it. We had brunch today. It felt good to be in the home of a legend! The food was great, the cocktails were great...especially the guava paloma. Our server was Juanita and she treated us very well.

Best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Very kind and thoughtful employees who explained the menu thoroughly. The food came fast, and it was the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, bar none.The beans were so flavourful, the steak was unbelievably soft for the fajitas, and the rice was packed with wonderful seasonings and flavour.This place is probably the best Mexican food in America, living up to its incredible heritage.

My husband and I went for lunch. It was PACKED! However, the service was good and the food was great. It wasn't as painful as I was afraid it was going to be with the large lunch crowd. I had the tamarind glazed salmon with mango salsa, and a margarita. Loved it!

Always a favorite before the game. I love the thick special chips that come with queso. Can't beat the food and the giant fajita platters for 2.. More like for 5! Specials are always so good and unique. I do miss the fried ice cream wish they would bring it back. Shuttle is always great too I'd much rather have 40 worth of food instead of 40 worth of parking even if you only go for that one reason.

This was an amazing choice for our first night in Houston for a work trip. The drinks and food were sooo delicious, and the waiter, Stephen, was excellent. I had half a dozen of the oyster special- roasted oysters topped with spicy blue crab, chorizo, and mezcal cream. Totally unique and delicious. I couldn’t decide what I wanted to eat after that, I just wanted something small, and Stephen had the kitchen make two shrimp wrapped in bacon tacos, also amazing. I had the guava margarita, also great. Living in the great foodie city of Atlanta, there is nothing like this Houston gem!

A Houston icon and a must for any visitor. Their margaritas are delicious as are their chips. The atmosphere is top notch. However if you’re seated near the restrooms you might have to deal with the smell all through your meal. I like their chilaquiles and their vegetable fajitas. The jug margarita is a pretty good deal as well.

Best Mexican Restaurant in Houston. I'm from California and I come here every year when I am in Houston. I love the tamales. The queso with ground beef is delicious. Also the cheese enchiladas. Excellent service.

For me, there is no other Ninfa's! The shrimp diablo was fantastic. Service is always great and the wait staff is super pleasant. The section we sat in was very loud, not sure if it is poor acoustics, but it was difficult to have a conversation with my friend. But, on the lighter side, Waffles the Llama, who is a 1st time customer, enjoyed it!!
